VW inverter project
Job description
I am part of Software testing team in VSeA (Valeo Siemens
Automotive).
Valeo Siemens Automotive develops and manufactures customer-specific high-voltage
components and systems for the entire range of on- road electric vehicles including hybrids,
plug-in hybrids and full electric vehicles.
VSeA team is delivering software to most premium OEMs such as DAIMLER, VW, Bike, PSA,
VOLVO, and JLR.
We use the most advanced technologies and solutions in the automotive industry from premium
suppliers as VECTOR, SPACE and TraceTronic for performing HIL testing activities.
I took part in:
- Integration testing team for the inverter safety and application features (Planning execution
and reporting)
- Validation Testing of BSW features (UDS, OBD, CAN, XCP) against customer requirements.
- System Testing team (Managing work packages, writing system test specification, analyzing
and reporting the test results).
Goals
- Understanding and analyzing customer and design requirements to develop testing
specifications.
- Scripts and automation needed to verify that the software meets the customer and design
requirements,
- Test cases execution and reporting finding defects on defect management tools and
performing hardware analysis and debugging for the ECU testing environment.
Achievements
- Participation in ASPICE, customer and Tüv-Aaudits.
- Improvements of the testing process.
- Responsible for delivering many SW Releases's Test Runs and received appreciation and
thank you mail from Test managers as well as the customer.
- Was promoted twice in a period of 3.5 years.

- Responsibility for testing new tools from different suppliers to be used inside the team
- Took a part inside the automation team who is responsible for providing support regarding
